The Ferguson Transport & Shipping National First Shinty Festivals 2022

This Saturday’s (26^th February) shinty action is focused on youth as the country’s best Primary School shinty sides come together in the Ferguson Transport & Shipping National First Shinty Festivals in Fort William.

In speaking of the event, Camanachd Association Youth Director, Willie MacDonald, said, “The National First Shinty Festivals are an important event for the young players as to win is the highest accolade in First Shinty.  Year after year we see the best young talent that the sport has to offer.

The P7 & Under competition takes place at the Nevis Centre, Fort William with play commencing at 12noon. The P5 & Under competition is being held at Lochaber High School commencing at 12.30pm.

Unfortunately do to current venue restrictions spectators are not able to attend the P5 & Under competition, however spectators are welcome to attend the P7 competition at the Nevis Centre.
