Will you be looking to avenge the defeat inflicted by Kingussie last time out?

We’ll definitely be looking for a far better performance than last time out that’s for sure. It’s always a tough ask against such a good team, but if we play to our strengths we’ll give ourselves a good chance.

The Camanachd Association’s cameras captured your u17’s putting 6 past Beauly last week – does it feel like the future of the club is in good hands with these youngsters coming through?

The club and volunteers have put in a great amount of time and effort in to help the younger generation prepare and progress, with some of them even knocking on the door of the first team, so it’s great to see them doing well in the youth league and with our second team.

You were of course awarded the Mowi Player of the Year award last season – how did it feel to receive this recognition, and how have you worked to build on this achievement?

It was a great feeling to be awarded the MOWI player of the year last season and one that I’m proud to have won. Obviously I’m trying to keep myself fit and healthy during the off season and pre season months to give myself the best possible chance of performing to a high and consistent level to help my team throughout the season.
