“As a newly established shinty club to the east of Edinburgh, we were delighted to engage with, and work closely with the Camanachd Association to obtain this substantial funding.
This will allow us to develop our club pathway from juniors to seniors and become the best community club that we can be.”
Roddy Young, Regional Development Officer (Central), Camanachd Association said:
“It was my pleasure to work closely with the team at East Lothian in order to secure this funding from the National Agency for Sport, sportscotland. I am particularly excited to see this club grow in the coming months and years and the funding will only help the dedicated volunteer team at East Lothian achieve their goals. If any of my clubs are looking at funding opportunities please don’t heistate to get in contact with me.
