East Lothian Shinty Club are a flourishing community club based in the heart of Scotland’s Golf Coast, surrounded by 40 miles of stunning coastline, golden beaches and rolling countryside.

Founded in 2021 by Ciarán O’Connell, East Lothian has rapidly established itself as a growing hotbed for Scotland’s most ancient and iconic team sport.

East Lothian Shinty Club plays an important role in the local community, providing a safe and social sporting environment for shinty players from P1 through to Adults. There is a strong social aspect within the club with opportunities to develop skills, maximise potential and widen social circles throughout the county.
