Saturday saw Col-Glen make their much anticipated Mowi Premiership debut, taking on Kinlochshiel at Clachan of Glendaruel

The occasion was marked with Kinlochshiel captain Ali Nixon and manager W D MacRae presenting the Cowal outfit with a commemorative plaque to celebrate their achievement. Having reformed in 2005 and first reaching the national division in 2023, Saturday was the culmination of a long journey and is a testament to the hard work and miles put in by volunteers and players alike over the previous 20 years.

The match ended up in a 3-0 win for Shiel, with Col-Glen making the short trip to faces Kyles this Saturday, whilst their reserve side Strachur-Dunoon will take in Stirling at the same time.
