Caberfeidh and Kingussie face off in the cottages.com MacTavish Cup Final this Saturday at Bught Park, Inverness.

Read the below stats to get you warmed up for the big fixture!

Kingussie are scoring an average of 2.77 goals per game and conceding an average of 0.62 goals per game. Kingussie are undefeated so far this season.

Caberfeidh are scoring an average of 2.27 goals per game and conceding an average of 3.36 goals per game – although the latter was increased greatly by Cabers recent Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup defeat to Kinlochshiel.

Supreme fitness

The stats show that over half of Kingussie's goals come in the final 15 minutes of each half - this would suggest that their style and fitness tire out the opposition over the course of each half leading to a glut of chances in the final 15 minutes.

Stiff legs?

Kingussie concede the majority of their goals after the half-time interval - whether that is due to a second wind from their opposition or that they take some time to get going again is hard to say. NB: It is difficult to draw conclusions from such a small sample size.

Consistently dangerous

The stats show that Caberfeidh are dangerous throughout the full match with a special focus on the 15 minutes before and after half-time. Given what we learned about Kingussie's potential vulnerability after half-time, this could play a part come Saturday.

Too open in attack?

We know that Caberfeidh are very potent in attack, however, the stats would suggest that can leave them vulnerable at the back throughout the match. It will be important that they don't give too many chances to Kingussie's lethal front line.

Savio Geni(us)ni

Savio Genini once again finds himself at the top of the goalscoring charts for Kingussie this season. The 2022 captain will be hoping his goals can ensure he lifts the trophy come Saturday evening.

Morrison leads the way

12 goals in all competitions for Caberfeidh hitman and 2019 MOWI Premiership top goalscorer Craig Morrison. If he can link up with Kevin Bartlett in attack Cabers are more than capable of breaking down a resolute Kingussie back line.
