The CRA are delighted to announce that it is re-established again following a period of inactivity.
The CRA Constitution highlights its objectives which includes, among many others:
* Promote the welfare of all the members.
* To work in conjunction with the CRA committee in improving and upgrading the standards and conditions of it’s members
* To assist the Camanachd Association (CA) with the recruitment, coaching, assessment and mentorship of new Officials.
A new excecutive committee was elected on the 19th of June and has been working on the setting up of clear communication links and developing its partnership with the CA. We would like to thank the CA for promoting this Press Release.
We have been attempting to reconnect with all past member Referees, Goal Judges and Match Assessors and a significant number have rejoined and paid the standard membership fee of £20.
We would now like to connect with all potential new members so that we can build an association that is working for its members and the good of the sport of Shinty. We would also like to develop closer links with Clubs so that everyone within our sport understands the challenges involved in being a Match Official and our focus on playing our part in helping everyone enjoy Shinty.
