The meeting will take place at the Highland Cinema in Fort William and we also aim to provide online access to the meeting using Microsoft Teams. \nVoting Members are now invited to submit proposed amendments to the Memorandum\, the Articles of Association\, the rules of play and any Director nominations (or any other proposals) for consideration at the 2024 AGM. A meeting to discuss any proposals may also be arranged. If you require any support with this process\, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The formal proposals should be received by the Camanachd Association in writing by 5pm on Thursday 3rd October 2024 and presented in a form that can be put forward to the AGM and on which a vote can be taken. \n\n\n\nCurrent byelaw (text and number)\nProposed new byelaw\nRational for change \nProposers\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFollowing the above guidance at least six weeks prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting (18th October)\, notice shall be given to voting members of any proposals we have received with an invitation to submit any relevant counter-proposals or amendments. These counter proposals or amendments should be received by the Camanachd Association in writing by 5pm on Thursday 31st October and presented in a form that can be put forward to the AGM and on which a vote can be taken. A helmet and a compliant faceguard are significant factors to mitigate risk in our sport. SUMMARY:UHI Cup Round 2 (Finals)
DESCRIPTION:This event is for either primary club or school teams (or a mix) and is played 7 aside with 3 subs (Squads of 10). The cost of entry for the 2 events is £25. \nThe first round will see the teams split into random leagues (regardless of club/school status) and play in a round robin of games throughout the day. Round 2 (the finals day) will see the teams split into 2 leagues\, based on the results of Round 1. There will be a cup and a plate to play for and teams will be in groups based on their ability (not club/school status). \nA condition of these events is that each team will have a UHI Student Coach allocated to them\, they will be responsible for getting to know the players across the 2 days\, taking the warm ups\, encouraging the players and generally learning a bit more about shinty (with the support of the teams coach). All of these students will have completed their Foundation Coaching Course with me prior to these events. \nPlease note that these students are NOT taking the place of the actual team coach but just getting to know a bit more about the sport and helping you (the coach) where they can. \n  \nDates: 31st March and 28th April \nVenue: Bught Park \nAge Group: Primary (North) \nTeams: Club or School or Mixed \nCost: £25  total for the 2 days \nAside: 7 aside with 3 subs (squads of 10) \nTimes: 12-3 for the first date and 1130-3 for the 2nd
