Garry Reid to Continue as Scotland Manager

We are pleased to announce that Garry Reid has agreed to continue in his role as the Scotland Manager. Garry, who has led the Scotland team since 2018, is widely recognised as one of the best managers in the game, having achieved significant success with the national team over the years.

Supporting Garry in his continued leadership will be a talented backroom team comprising Robert Geddes, Gavin Campbell, Kenny Ross, and Alison Thomson. Their collective experience and dedication will provide invaluable support to the team as they strive for further success. In addition, former Camanachd Association President Steven MacKenzie has been appointed as the international coordinator.

Kevin Thain, Competitions Director, expressed his delight at Garry’s decision to remain as Scotland Manager, saying, “We are delighted that Garry Reid has agreed to continue in his capacity as Scotland Manager. His leadership and coaching team have been instrumental in our success, and we look forward to achieving further success with him at the helm.”

The Mowi Shinty Hurling International will take place on Saturday 26th October in Ireland with the 2025 edition set to return to Scotland at the refurbished Bught Park.
