What have your team done well so far this season?

Never given up! We’ve played 3 strong teams in the CA Cup and 2 of the teams pushed us to extra time – Inverness and Kingussie. We had to fight hard and play our best shinty to win in extra time. We have improved a lot this year thanks to the academy and our coaches. We won the UHI Cup in May which was great especially after not winning any games at the tournament last year.

Who is your favourite shinty player just now and why?

My cousins Lexy and Lachlann MacLeod because of their natural ability and great attitude. They have helped me a lot as we are always out practicing together.

What do you know about your opponents Oban Youth?

They’re physically strong and play good shinty and they scored loads of goals this cup run.

What is your favourite song to get your hyped for a game?

The Glen by Beluga Lagoon

What is your favorite shinty memory so far?

Watching back the 1990 Camanachd cup final where Skye faced Newtonmore and won 4-1. The only time Skye have won it. It’s about time they won it again 😉

How are you and the rest of the team feeling ahead of Saturdays game?

We’re up for it and really excited. It’s been a tough cup run and we know the final won’t be any different. We have great coaches and they have us ready for it.
