Cailean, a big cup final on Saturday, how are you and the boys preparing ahead of such a big match?

We are trying to fit in as much match speed shinty as possible in preparation for the big game with having friendlies against our first team in the past couple weeks of training.

Does going into the final as holders come with any additional pressure or expectation?

I think that going into the game we will be the ones expected to come out on top especially with having a pretty good season too, but we need to approach it like its just another match.

It was an incredibly 3-3 draw with Kyles last time out, just a fortnight ago in the league, do you think we can expect goals galore come Saturday?

I think we can expect ourselves coming out with a bite, fighting for goals. With a couple boys coming back we will be looking stronger and ready to take them head on, we need to keep our intensity and not let Kyles establish a foothold in the game.

What did you make of Kyles in that game, what are their strengths and how can you get at them?

The Kyles team were pretty strong in Tighnabruaich and their defence were stubborn and physical, which we will look to overcome by playing simple fast shinty between us and press them hard throughout the full game.

On a personal note, you bagged a double in the Semi Final against Kilmory, what would it mean to get on the scoresheet in the Bullough Cup Final?

It would mean a lot to be on the score sheet and I would definitely be over the moon if I’m able to help my team win with a goal or two, but securing a win and making a positive contribution will be the main focus for the cup final.
