It’s Lochaber this weekend with a point needed to secure the title – how is the mood in the squad ahead of the game?

The mood in the squad is good ahead of this game. Everyone has been working hard both at training and individually to put us in the best position possible. We just have to remain switched on and focus on our own game.

Badenoch are on the cusp of 5 league titles in a row – how big a testament is this to all the hard work put in by all in the club?

Obviously this would be a great achievement for us as a club. We have been lucky enough to have a great squad who are all very committed and help push each other to be better. There is a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes to help drive our club forward and without the years of dedication from volunteers and coaches then we wouldn’t be in this position.

Badenoch will once again take on Lochaber in September in the Valerie Fraser final – how big would a double be for the club?

Of course doing the double would be a great achievement for us but at the same time we could come away with nothing, we have to just take it one game at a time. Our games over the past couple of seasons with Lochaber have been very tightly contested so on the day it could go either way.

Overall, how do you feel you’ve contributed on the field this season?

I have been happy enough with my performances this season. Being a goalkeeper can be a very lonely place at times, any mistakes ultimately end up in goals but I’m grateful that I have a brilliant squad in front of me who minimise the amount of saves I have to make.
