Stuart, a big top of the table clash against Lochaber on Saturday, how are you and the team feeling ahead of the game?

The mood in the squad is very good just now, there has been a good buzz around the team over the past few weeks at training and at the games.

You obviously beat Lochaber earlier in the season at Blairbeg, is that something that gives you confidence coming into Saturday?

Of course winning the home game earlier in the season was a great result for us & will give us confidence and belief going into Saturdays game. Lochaber are a strong side who have also preformed well this season & we will need to be at our best to replicate the previous game.

After a rocky start to the season, the team has really come into form and obviously currently occupy top spot, was winning the league the goal at the start of the season or has this taken you by surprise?

We had a players meeting at the start of the season where we set out our goals. Lots of aims were suggested with silverware being one of them along with team work/spirit

Glenurquhart have the most stubborn defence in the league and you’re obviously an integral part of that, just how important has that been to Glenurquhart’s success this year?

I have mainly been playing home/local games due to work commitments so I think it’s a credit to the defence and stand in goalkeepers who have kept the good form going.

Win your final two games and you will be MOWI National Division Champions, how would that feel?

We have two huge games left to prepare for against Lochaber & Kilmallie which we know will be extremely tough games. Overcoming those games would be great for the club especially the younger boys who have really pushed on this season.
