Shinty Memories Auction continues…

Thanks to everyone who took part in our first shinty auction in aid of Shinty Memories Scotland.

The sum of £70 was raised for the 1971 Camanachd Cup Final programme and thanks to Michael Gault, formerly of Millburn Academy for his superb donation.  Your support is much appreciated in our endeavours to help our shinty communities meet challenges with mental health.  So, here’s our second auction.  This time it is a hard-back copy of the Shinty! volume published by the CA in 1993 as part of the centenary celebrations.  A great achievement it was, thanks to the efforts of a great team led by Donnie Grant including Willie Batchen, John Willie Campbell and Alister Chisholm of Boleskine.  Relatively few hard-backs were published which makes them extremely attractive and much sought after.   Bids for the book, which is in mint condition and we can get signed by the President (if that helps), the Chief (I am sure he would) or the author (if that helps at all) –  bids will close at 1800 on Sunday, 14 February. So why not buy it for your loved one on St Valentine’s Day?  That would be one problem solved! Bids opened at a measly £10 and can only be lodged on the Shinty Memories Scotland Facebook
