It’s a trip up north to face Kinlochshiel in the Camanachd Cup – how are you looking forward to the match?

Yeah,  we’ve been looking forward to this match for a while. It’s the biggest trophy in shinty so it’s hard not to keep an eye on the date of these kind of games.

Fort have kept up the early season momentum, are you confident of continuing this in the cup?

We’ve had a good start to the season, especially since it’s our first season in the Premiership in however many years. We’ve had some setbacks but the team have held it together and bounced back the following week.

What do you make of Kinlochshiel as a team?

Kinlochshiel are a strong side all over the park, with some young and some experienced players. They’re a physical team so we will need to be on top of our game to match them and get the result.

On a personal level, how do you feel your game is maturing with the step up to the premiership?

From the National to the Premiership is a massive jump, so it took some time to adjust. However, with experience in the coaches and on the sidelines it has really helped me adjust my game to the level of the premiership and progress my game further.
