Fort William ran out 6-0 winners in the Cottages.com MacTavish Cup vs GlenUrquhart. Young Lachie Shaw helped himself to a hat-trick ensuring his side would be in the Semi-Finals.

Skye prepared for this weekend’s ALVANCE Ballimore Cup Final with a match up against Kilmallie. Kilmallie took the spoils from the islanders though in an exciting 3-2 match – Stuart Callison scoring the winner in the 77th minute.

Kingussie won yet another match against Newtonmore this weekend by 2 goals. James Falconer continuing his impressive season and Dylan Borthwick getting in on the act.

Oban Celtic put 8 past Aberdour at Silversands with Daniel MacMillan and Duncan MacDonald both scoring a hat-trick.

The Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Semi-Finals were relatively high scoring affairs.

In contrast to their tight early season matches which both ended 3-2, Kyles Athletic comfortably beat GMA 5-0 at Yoker. Thornton & MacDonald helping themselves to braces with Rupert Williamson also getting in on the act.

Oban Camanachd also progressed with stalwarts Daniel Cameron and Andrew MacCuish getting on the scoreline – this added to a brace from Malcolm Clark has set up a repeat of the 2019 Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Final.

Lovat got some revenge for their 2019 Highland Industrial Supplies Sutherland Cup defeat to Lochside Rovers by knocking them out of the 2021 edition in the semi-final. 3 goals in the opening 10 minutes sent Lovat on their way with Ryan Ferguson adding 2 in the last 10 to add a bit of gloss to the scoreline.

Lovat will now meet Newtonmore at Blairbeg Park, Drumnadrochit in the Highland Industrial Supplies Sutherland Cup Final on 16th October.
