How excited are you for the season to start again? Very – it’s great to be able to get games played again!
What’s your favourite thing agbout playing shinty? Having fun and being part of an enjoyable team.
What goals do you have for yourself in shinty? I can’t wait to join a good senior team in the future.
Iain Duffy
Age: 12
Position: Versatile
How excited are you for the season to start again? Very excited, I can’t wait to play games again!
What’s your favourite thing about playing shinty? Playing as a team and scoring goals.
What goals do you have for yourself in shinty? To win at under 14 level and successfully progress through the Oban Celtic teams to eventually play for the seniors.

How excited are you about the season starting again:
I am really excited about the season starting again, I am a shinty ambassador for First year and enjoy getting involved. We have had a great start. It’s good getting everyone playing again and working as a team.
What’s your favourite thing about playing shinty:
I like the fast Pace of shinty and the fact it’s a competitive sport.
What goals do you have for yourself in the future in shinty:
I would like to play for Oban Camanachd and represent Scotland against Ireland.
