It’s a trip to The Eilan for the final match of the season, how is the mood in the squad ahead of the game?

We’re looking forward to Saturday’s game. There has been a positive atmosphere around the squad all year and everyone has been enjoying their shinty. I think that has come through in how we have been playing.

It’ll be a tough task against a Newtonmore team that followed up their Camanachd Cup with a 6-0 rout of Kyles – what do you make of them as a team?

Newtonmore are a strong well drilled team. They have shown that this season winning the Camanachd Cup, but we are up for the challenge and I am sure it will be an entertaining game on Saturday.

Whilst you were unable to beat Fort William on Saturday, Oban Camanachd are still in with a chance of scooping the league title – do you think this season has been a success, and do you think the team can build on this next season?

This season has been successful winning the Celtic cup and challenging strongly in all other competitions. This gives us plenty positives to take into next season.

You were called up for the RI Cruden u17 tour, being named MOTM in Wexford – how do you feel your game has developed over the course of the season?

My game has definitely developed this season playing in the bigger games and gaining more experience each week for the older boys.
