You host Glenurquhart this weekend in the W M Donald MacTavish Cup 1st round, how are you feeling ahead of the game?

Our last meeting with Glen in the MacDonald Cup was a good challenge and a very competitive game. We have been preparing well to come out with a positive result this Saturday as we know it will be a tough game, but we’re all confident.

Strathglass have already played Glenurquhart this season in the MacDonald Cup, what do you make of them as a team?

Glenurquhart are a very physical and youthful team. They have started their season very well in the national division while scoring 18 and only conceding 4 goals. We know that we will all have to be in top form to give ourselves a chance of progressing in the cup.

Looking towards the league, it’s been a slow start, are you confident of picking up momentum?

I trust that we will pick up form in the league as we have had good availability in the past couple of weeks. Having two games cancelled has not been ideal for momentum but hopefully we see some improvement in the following games so we can challenge for the league once again.

On a personal level, what are your aims for the season?

My aims for the season are to adapt fully to the new position I am playing in the centre line, challenge for the North Division 1 title to gain promotion and to make the North of Scotland and Scotland squad at the U17s age group, as this is a big ambition of mine.
