Final four fight to fortify Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup chances as draw takes place at The Inverness Castle Experience
This morning the final four clubs discovered the next move in their quest for silverware as the draw for the Semi-Finals of the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup took place at Inverness Castle. In attendance were Camanachd Association Finance Director, Alister MacKinnon & Kieran Graham, Tulloch Homes Managing Director.
The draw took place at the newly refurbished Inverness Castle Visitor Experience, which is now home of the original Camanachd Cup. The cup, made in the late 1800’s was hand crafted by silversmiths Hamilton & Inches, just as its sister replica trophy was in 2023.
The Semi-Final Draw threw up two fascinating matchups as holders Newtonmore were paired with Oban Camanachd and Kingussie are to play Skye.
The 2026 Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final is set to take place on September 19th at Mossfield Park, Oban and discounted tickets are available now at www.shinty.com/tickets-merchandise.
Both semi-finals will be televised live on BBC ALBA.
The Semi-Final draw is available in full below, along with quotes from Camanachd Association President, Burton Morrison, Tulloch Homes Managing Director, Kieran Graham and Highlife Highland CEO, Steve Walsh.

Burton Morrison, President of the Camanachd Association, said:
“The Camanachd Cup always creates special occasions and this year’s semi-finals have all the ingredients to add another memorable chapter to the competition’s history. With Skye aiming to reach their first final since lifting the trophy in 1990, Oban Camanachd hoping to book a place in a home final for the first time since 1998, Newtonmore chasing what would be a record 91st appearance in the final, and Kingussie looking to reach a fifth consecutive final, there are some remarkable stories unfolding. Holding the draw at the Inverness Castle Experience, where the original Camanachd Cup is proudly displayed, is a fitting reminder of the rich heritage of our game and what this trophy means to clubs, players and supporters across the shinty community. We wish all four clubs the very best as they compete for a place in this year’s final.”
Kieran Graham, Managing Director of Tulloch Homes, said:
“The excitement is really building now we’ve hit the Camanachd Cup semi-finals, and it’s brilliant to see how much this tournament means to people. As we build our high-quality homes across Inverness and the Highlands, we understand that takes more than bricks and mortar to make a place feel like home – it takes real community spirit.
Shinty is a massive part of that. It has this great way of bringing everyone together, which is exactly why we support the Camanachd Cup. Best of luck to all teams.”
Steve Walsh, Chief Executive at High Life Highland Said:
“Hosting the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Semi-Final Draw reflects the important connection between The Inverness Castle Experience, Highland heritage and the communities that continue to shape it today. We are proud to play a part in celebrating one of the Highlands’ most iconic sporting traditions. Through the work of High Life Highland and The Inverness Castle Experience, we are able to share stories that are deeply rooted in the culture and communities of the Highlands. We wish all four clubs the very best in the semi-finals and look forward to following their journey to the final in Oban.”
