It is with deep regret that we have to announce that Allan MacDiarmid passed away on Wednesday 14 December aged 91. The club would like to extend its condolences to his wife Maimie and the family at this sad time.
Allan was the oldest Boleskine player, playing when they reformed in 1953, and for several years after that. Previously Allan played with Straths Athletic in their successful trophy winning period in the late forties and early fifties. Alan later moved to Glenelg and played with Kinlochshiel, winning the Sutherland Cup in 1962.
Allan’s funeral will be held at the Church of Scotland, Drumnadrochit, on 22nd December at 1pm
