Donald is a graduate engineer who spent his career working in the oil and renewable industries both in the UK and overseas.  Having retired as an Engineer he embarked upon a new career in tourism gaining experience working in tourist offices and visitor attractions.  Donald hopes to use his experience in tourism to promote the Shinty’s Story – Sgeul na Camanachd exhibition at the Bught Park to a wider audience, including overseas visitors, providing them with the opportunity to learn about the rich history of Scotland’s community sport and its continuing importance and relevance today.

In his spare time Donald continues to participate in a variety of sports.
