Glenurquhart Shinty Club – ‘Share the Load’ Fundraiser Bught to Blairbeg Walk – Sunday 29th June
Glenurquhart Shinty Club are undertaking a sponsored walk from Bught Park in Inverness to Blairbeg Park in Drumnadrochit on Sunday 29th June to raise funds for the club and Mikeysline, a Highland-based mental health charity.
Participants will take turns carrying a stretcher with a rescue dummy along the route, symbolising the importance of sharing the load when it comes to supporting others. The walk will follow pavements and the Great Glen Way, covering around 18 miles with varied terrain and elevation.
A support team will be on hand throughout, with water stations, transport options, and a BBQ at the finish line in Blairbeg Park.
All funds raised will go towards supporting Glenurquhart Shinty Club and the vital mental health work of Mikeysline.
