It’s the MacMaster Cup Final this Saturday, how are the squad feeling ahead of the game?

The squad are feeling good, little bit of nerves but everyone is looking forward to it.

The current holders Skye stand in your way – do you think it will be a close match?

Skye are a great team, we have played them twice this season and both games were really close. We came out on top both times, so hopefully we can do the same this Saturday.

Lovat have scored 27 goals on their way to the final – how well do you feel the team has been playing?

We have played brilliant this season, and we’ve stepped up since the summer holidays. We have been a threat up front with some great goal scorers and our defence has been solid.

You’ve stepped up to the 17s, as well as making your 2nd team debut this year – how do you feel your game is developing?

I have gotten a lot of confidence this year from playing U17s and second team, it has helped me perform at a higher standard in the U14s. Playing and training with the other experienced players in the second team has helped me with my skill and confidence.
