Cabers will kick off the u17 season by welcoming Beauly – do you think it’ll be a tight match?

I am very excited for the under 17 to kick off and looking forward to facing Beauly at home. It’s always an intense game with not a lot of goals scored. Last season they got the better of us with late goals in both their victories, so we are hoping to do better this season by beating Beauly – that would be an achievement itself.

You’ve started this season on fire, hitting 19 goals in Mowi North II already – what has been key to this start?

This season I’m on form and I’m hoping to keep it that way. I’ve been motivated by wanting to win this league and we are going the way of it. I think the key to my start is that I’ve rarely missed training in pre season getting ready for this season, and last year I wasn’t playing senior shinty and wasn’t training as hard

Your goalscoring record this season is reminiscent of Craig Morrison’s – how do you see him as an inspiration?

Craig Morrison plays a good part in my shinty game. Watching him and just wanting to be like him has given me the motivation to keep on trying harder and achieve my potential.
