It’s a trip to Glasgow to face GMA, how are you looking forward to the game?

We’re looking forward to getting back into the swing of things this weekend after the weather playing havoc with games the last wee while. It’s always a good game against GMA, they are physical and fast so hopefully we put in a good performance!

Skye have scored 3 goals in each of their last 5 games against GMA, will the team be looking to put in another good attacking performance?

Hopefully we are able to. GMA have a strong back line, so it’ll be a tough match for the forwards. We are lucky to have Abby MacLean joining us again this season up in the forward line, and alongside our younger players who came into the squad last week, we are hoping it gives us an extra boost on the park.

It was a good result against a strong Lochaber side last week, what went well?

We were glad to get the result, everyone put in a good shift and we just need to build on that result. Quite a few of the girls went through, and are going through, U14s and U17s therefore a good number of us were used to the format which definitely helped.

The premier cup is 12-a-side, do you see this as a good thing for women’s shinty to get to play with more players?

It’s great to have a new cup in the women’s game. It’s always good to get the opportunity to play more and bring more players into the game!
