The CA were delighted to have another member club receive a club mark accreditation award this week.

West Region RDO Les Kinvig has been working with Oban Camanachds President Patrick Steeman in recent weeks and was delighted to be able to award Oban Camanachd with the foundation award.

Les said: “It is great to see the enthusiasm Pat shows for his club and shinty in general. I am looking forward to working further with Pat and the club in the coming weeks as they only have a few small steps to take before they will achieve their bronze award.”

It’s a busy time for Oban Camanachd on and off the pitch and to have this award coincide with Oban Camanachd reaching the Macaulay cup final and with a Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup semi just around the corner it’s great to see the progress on all fronts.

Patrick said he was delighted to receive the award on behalf of the club and would like to thank the CA and Les for helping guide them through the process and stated this also would not be possible without the hard work of the club Committee, volunteers and members who also deserve credit for this award.
