Scotland U17 Manager Ronald Ross has today, 6th July, confirmed that Innes Jackson will be called up to the Scotland U17 International Squad for their Tour of Ireland, sponsored by RI Cruden.
Oban Celtic’s Innes Jackson will replace Fort William’s Cam Stephen in the squad with the latter having to pull out due to injury. The loss of Cam Stephen, a very talented player is unfortunate. However, Scotland’s fortune lies in the wealth of talent available, ensuring a seamless replacement with Innes Jackson. This depth of skill within the the young shinty community demonstrates the ongoing dedication to nurturing young players from coaches across the country.
Everyone at the Camanachd Association would like to pass on their congratulations to Innes and wish Cam all the best in his recovery.
