Strathdearn Cup drawn alongside new Single Team Club Competition

The draw for the Strathdearn Cup as well as a new Single Team Club Competition were made on Monday 21^st February.

The Strathdearn Cup is for 2^nd teams in the area leagues of shinty or first teams in North 2. The Single Team Club Competition is for any club that has only one team and is competing in the area leagues.

Competitions Director, Burton Morrison said:

“We are looking forward to the introduction of the new Single Team Club Competition and hope it will give the qualifying teams a realistic opportunity to win the trophy and enable healthy competition between all the sides who enter. My thanks go to  the clubs who fed into the proposal as well as to the Competitions Committee and Astie for their support in making it possible. As we creep ever closer to the first throw up of 2022 we now only have the 1^st Round Draw of the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup before the first set of Cup fixtures are set in stone.”
