The Glasgow Celtic Society cup is the most historic cup competition in Shinty, being held annually since 1879. It is open to all senior South District teams.
The cup is not run by the Camanachd Association, instead being organised by the Glasgow Celtic Society.
Oban Camanachd are the current holders of the competition, lifting their 22nd title in 2024. Kyles Athletic are the most successful team, having lifted 35 titles. Inveraray rank third in the all time rankings with 21 titles, in thanks to an incredible 11 wins in 13 years between 1999 and 2012. Lovat are the only northern team to have won the title, lifting the competition in 1950 and 1951 during a brief period when north teams entered the cup.
The final was traditionally held at Old Anniesland in Glasgow, however, since 2011 the final has been held at a host of venues.
