It’s an all South tie as you welcome Oban Camanachd – how are you looking forward to the game?

I’m looking forward to this weeks game, I always enjoy our games against Camanachd – they tend to be hard fought physical encounters and Saturday will have that added spice with it being the Scottish Cup down at the bear pit.

What are Kyles aims for the TH Camanachd Cup this season?

We always look to try and win the Scottish cup at the start of each season. Our recent history in the competition hasn’t been good enough and hopefully we can get ourselves to the latter stages again before I hang the boots up.

You will take on Oban Camanachd in the Glasgow Celtic Challenge Cup final next month – are you relishing the chance of reclaiming the cup?

The Celtic cup is a few weeks away yet and we need to focus on each game as it comes. It’s nice to make the final but it’s not something we have been concentrating on at the minute.

A narrow 4-5 loss earlier this season shows the potential for goals – what have you learnt from this game, and how will you look to nullify their threats?

I missed the game earlier on this season but it sounded like a cracker, playing at full back this season I’m hoping we can stop them scoring as many this time round. We know what they are all about and will need to much better than we have been the last two weeks to get the result. They move the ball really well up forward and we will need to be switched on to keep them at bay.

You gained another Scotland cap last season – how have you been working on maintaining the same levels of performance that got you called up?

I don’t really think about the international selection from one year to the next, it’s always an honour to be selected but I think you just do well for your club and that will take care of itself. I’m getting to the end of my career now so wouldn’t expect to get many more caps.
