W M Donald MacTavish Cup Semi-Finals confirmed
The Camanachd Association and W M Donald are proud to present the MacTavish Cup Semi-Final draw which was conducted at Abertarff House in Inverness this morning.
Civil Engineering Firm W M Donald are sponsoring the MacTavish Cup for the first time in 2025. Draw in full:
Lochaber face a tough test having been drawn away to Kingussie and will need solid foundations if they’re to stop the hosts from building on last year’s progress.
Camanachd Cup runners up Lovat are no strangers to pressure, but Fort William might just have the steel reinforcements to withstand it this time round as they seek to make back-to-back MacTavish Finals
As the semi-finals loom, it’s all about load-bearing performances — and no side can afford any cracks in the system!
W M Donald, Senior Contracts Manager
Kris Brown
“W M Donald are a family run business and we have been operating in Inverness for quite some time now, what is clear is the passion that people in the Highlands have for shinty so it’s really good for us to be able to give back to the communities we work in across this region and beyond.”
Camanachd Association CEO
Ruari Davidson:
“We were delighted to conduct the draw at Abertarff House today in Inverness along with our friends at W M Donald. Looks like a really exciting draw with Lochaber, who are waving the National Division flag in the semi-finals, travelling to the holders. There is of course the potential for a repeat of last year’s final with Fort William again in the semis, although Lovat will have a thing or two to say about that! Best of luck to all the teams in the next round.”
Administrator for the National Trust for Scotland
Philip Nicol:
“It was a pleasure to host the draw at Abertarff House on Church Street, we are keen to start hosting some more events and bringing people up to speed on what the site can offer both in terms of history and for events."
