Skye and Newtonmore to renew allegiances in juvenile final

A rivalry forged at u14 level now plays out at u17 level, as an all conquering Newtonmore side look to defend their title against a Skye side who will be looking to build on cup glory in a higher age bracket.

Newtonmore reached the final after an 9-0 win against Caberfeidh at Braeview, once again showcasing their scoring prowess that saw them complete a clean sweep in the age bracket in 2025. At Blairbeg Skye were made to work hard by a strong Kingussie side who gave them a fright as Lexi Farquhar equalised late on, but it was Peter Martin who found the back of the net soon after to ensure the islanders made the final.

These sides met each other in 3 successive MacMaster Cup Finals and with many players having made the step up to under 17 level, the final promises to be another high octane contest between two very strong sides.
