Just after 10am this morning the Women’s Camanachd Association Scotland squad were landing in Cork, representing their communities, their families and the wonderful sport of shinty as the represent their country in a match v West Cork Select tonight with a 545pm throw up. The squad sponsored by JIG Groundworks arrived in Cork for the first match since 2019 and supported by Kit Sponsor Macron.

The match itself represents the culmination of an incredible season for the Women’s Camanachd Association and their volunteers with over 200 fixtures were scheduled, with an incredible finals day in Newtonmore and the international to conclude a brilliant year.

The squad are being led by team captain, Caitlin Maclean (Skye) who has seven caps already in a Scotland jersey. For more on Caitlin  and all the latest news on this weekends international visit the WCA facebook page.
