It’s the first Badenoch Derby of the season as you host Kingussie, how are you feeling ahead of the game?

Looking forward to the game this week, it’s always tough test against Kingussie and we know we’ll need to be at it to get a positive result from the game.

3 out of 3 so far this season, are you happy with how the team has been playing?

Delighted with the way we’ve started the season, especially winning at 2 tough places to go in Oban and Skye. We’ve definitely not played close to our best shinty so far but at this stage of the season it’s just great to get points on the board.

What do you think this team can achieve?

As we showed last season the squad we have is more than capable to compete at the latter stages of the league and cups – the aim is to build on last year, but we can only do that if we continue working harder and setting high standards within the group.

This will be the first time you play your rivals since the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final, run me through just how much that result meant

Winning the Camanachd meant so much to everyone involved with the club and within the community. It was a long six years with a few hard days and defeats along the way to get back to that point. The support we had in the lead up to and on the day of the final was incredible and it definitely pushed us on.

You topped this off with a re-call to the Scotland squad, was it nice to get recognition off the back of a strong season?

It’s always an honour to be selected for your country and it was great to be back involved last year as part of a very strong squad after missing the last couple of years.
