Oban Camanachd have started the season strongly and are currently undefeated – what has been key to this start?

It’s got to be squad depth and the togetherness in the team, having lost a few boys due to injuries some younger players have had to step in and done great. Also having a few experienced players back with the likes of Lorne Dickie and Melon,  it’s created a good balance throughout the team.

You take on Fort William who are also unbeaten this campaign – do you think it will be a tricky match for yourselves?

I don’t think you expect any game to be easy in the Premiership and this one will be no different, especially after the start to the season Fort William have had.

What do you see as their main strengths?
They seem strong all over the park, not conceding many and scoring plenty.

How important has the management of Daniel Cameron been to your strong start?
It definitely has been important, we’ve got to give Daniel and Iain MacMillan credit, as they have us well prepared for each week.

On a personal level, what are your aims for this season?

My only target is to better last season, score more goals and win more trophies.
