Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Phort Rìgh Captain Interview
This Saturday, the action all throws up at Bught Park with the MacKay Cup Final between Rockfield and Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Phort Rìgh, we spoke to BSGP captain, Ceitidh ahead of the big game!
You had a big win over Newtonmore in the semi-final – what was the key to that performance?
I think we had good communication and we worked as a team and passed well.
How are you and your teammates feeling ahead of playing at Bught Park in such an important final?
I think that we can win it. If we play like we’ve been playing we’ll have a really good chance of doing well. Some of my team mates are with me on our p7 trip in Raasay this week and it’s there’s a lot going on so it’s not really on our mind.
What have you enjoyed most about this MacKay Cup run?
I’ve really enjoyed getting to play with other people and going away and getting off school.
As captain, what will you say to your team just before you go out onto the pitch on Saturday?
“Siuthad Port Rìgh, tha e againn!”
