Newtonmore goals for & against

The Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup holders have had some convincing victories this season including a 10-1 win against Inverness.

Kingussie goals for & against

The Mowi Premiership Champions have been formidable at the back this season conceding only twice. Newtonmore were responsible for one of those goals last week.

Strong in the 2nd

The stats show that Newtonmore are twice as dangerous in the 2nd half of matches with 71% of their goals coming in that period. There could be something to be said for Orsten Garnder's tactical tinkering as 35% of 'More goals come in the 15 minutes after half-time.

Focus from the off

Newtonmore have not conceded very many goals this season but 40% of those conceded have come in the first 15 minutes. They will need to be switched on from throw-up to ensure they progress to the next round.

Dangerous throughout

The stats show that Kingussie are dangerous right throughout the match, with an even split between 1st and 2nd half goals. They also start and finish strongly, scoring just under half their goals in these periods which is something Newtonmore will have to be wary of.

Stiffening up?

Given Kingussie have only conceded 2 goals it's hard to read too much into the stats. However, it is curious that both of these have come within 4 minutes of each other in seperate games.
