The successful candidate will be a key member of the team delivering ‘Shinty’s Story – Sgeul na Camanachd’ and will be responsible to the Project Manager, CEO and the Board of Directors.
The purpose of the post:
The purpose of the Exhibition Officer post is to manage and ensure the smooth establishment and running of the ‘Shinty’s Story – Sgeul na Camanachd’ exhibition. The Exhibition Officer will be responsible for coordinating the setup, maintenance, and daily operations of the exhibition, ensuring an engaging and informative visitor experience. This role involves working closely with the Project Manager, external partners, and the local community to deliver a dynamic exhibition that celebrates the heritage of shinty, fostering a deeper appreciation for the sport and its cultural significance. Knowledge of the shinty community/the sport community, and of Gaelic is an advantage.

- Location: ‘Shinty’s Story – Sgeul na Camanachd’ – Bught Park, Inverness.
- Hours: 37.5 per week including reglar weekend work
- Salary: £24,000 (circa) per annum, dependent on skills and relevant experience
- Additional Benefits: Pension contribution
- Contract: 24-month fixed term contract
